Birthday Lunch Treat at Lemuria

My highness, Queen Corn, wanted to treat me with something that I have never tried before for my birthday! Since I haven't eaten in a fine dining restaurant yet, she tried her very best to research about one and so, Lemuria came to life.

Ksarap! in Daet, Camarines Norte

After our trip to Calaguas Island last month, we went back to Daet city to buy some souvenirs! But of course, me and my friends ate lunch along the way! Our tour guide (Rachel) brought us to KSaraaaaaaap!

Don Day Korean Buffet

About a month ago, the PG team, a group of friends who have surrendered their souls to food, and some more friends went to a korean buffet in Quezon City. I discovered Don Day after researching a few blogs about it! After eating in their buffet, which was quite cheap, I invited a lot of friends to eat there again!

Merienda at La Nuova Pasteleria

My mom, my youngest sister and I was supposed to have a mini merienda session in Le Coeur de France near Forbes Park, Makati. However, it was full because the place was really small so we tried La Nuova Pastelera, which was right beside Le Coeur de France.

Cafe by the Ruins in Baguio City

Really late post for this one! Cafe by the ruins is another favorite restaurant that we go to when we visit Baguio. They have great coffee and their food is also incredible.

Forest House in Baguio City

My mom LOVES Forest House. My mom always made sure that we would drop by in Forest House whenever we went to Baguio. The restaurant has a homey feeling and their decor and ambiance are great pluses as well.

Appetizer
Their free appetizer looked and tasted like flat biscuits. It wasn't really exceptional but we ate it anyway since we were so hungry! The place was packed even at 9pm since it was Easter's Eve.

The Yummy Bibingka of Marsha's Delicacies

While on our way to Baguio, my uncle led us to a very famous pasalubong shop, Marsha's Delicacies! Their specialty was the bibingka so we gave it a try!

Cassava Cake
The cassava cake was just okay! It was similar to the cassava cakes that we had here in Manila. Nothing special in this one.

THE Empanada of Vigan, Ilocos Sur

At this point, I have already tried an empanada when we were swimming at Cabugao Beach. But my uncle told me that Irene's Empanada is the queen of Empanadas in Vigan. So before heading to Baguio, we stopped by Irene's Empada to taste her version of Vigan's favorite snack!

Irene's Empnada
They also have Vigan's famous Longganisa and Bagnet but we came for the EMPANADA! So step down, Longganisa and Bagnet!

Cafe Uno in Vigan, Ilocos Sur

Our first food trip in Northern Vigan-Baguio Trip was in Cafe Uno! This small, cozy restaurant was packed with people even when we came at around 1PM. They have a buffet table set up for 'fast ordering' since they would only need to transfer the food to a plate and serve it to you! We didn't mind ordering this way because we were so HUNGRY!

Mango Shake
The little ones in our group ordered this! It was fresh and sweet! Not too much to talk about this, I was patiently waiting for the region's "special" longganisa.

Korean Restaurant in Adriatico St., Vito Cruz

We went to a Korean Restaurant in Adriatico Street in Vito Cruz, Manila (near DLSU). The restaurant was small and I actually forgot the name of the restaurant because it was in korean (although I think they had an english translated name). Anyway, my family is a big fan of korean food so we decided to eat in this place!

FREE Appetizers
There's always FREE stuff in authentic Korean restaurants! In this restaurant, we had 7 free appetizers. In clockwise direction, pickled veggies, nuts with dilis, soft tofu-like thing, egg, kimchi, and a spicy kimchi-like dish. The two small dishes in the center are sauces for the Samgyeupsal (pork belly yummy), the red bean paste, and sesame oil with a lot of salt.

Bubble Tea Restaurant

Crab and me went to one of her favorite restaurants of all time, Bubble Tea! They serve different types of milk tea and milk tea shakes as well as different, not the ordinary california maki, styles of sushi!

Taro Milk Shake
Crab ordered Taro Milk Shake (her favorite) with mixed big and small pearls. It tastes a bit like Quickly but creamier and milkier! I guess they add scoops of vanila ice cream in their milk shakes to add creaminess! hahaha!

Seafood Island Restaurant

After strolling around in Trinoma, Crab and me went to Seafood Island Restaurant in Trinoma to eat. She told me that Seafood Island offers huge and fancy set meals that can serve 3-4 people. I told her that we should take on the challenge and eat the set meal with only the two of us! She said we can finish everything since I am a monster :)

Fresh Buko!
Crab got envious when she saw a person from another table order buko juice. So, we also ordered Buko Juice HAHAHA! It was not served cold so we were kinda dissapointed.

Izakaya Kikufuji Japanese Restaurant

First post ever! Crab and me ate at Izakaya Kikufuji in Little Tokyo, Makati for lunch a few weeks ago. They have lunch specials so you get to choose your set meals! Set meals (around 300-400Php) include a free appetizer, miso soup and yummy Japanese rice.

Katsudon
Our first order is a Katsudon (Pork with yummy egg) Set Meal! It was good for 2 and it came with free miso soup, an appetizer and Japanese rice. It was really yummy! The pork was soft and the sauce was light. It also doesn't have too much fat in it unlike other Katsudons that I've eaten before.
