Don Day Korean Buffet

About a month ago, the PG team, a group of friends who have surrendered their souls to food, and some more friends went to a korean buffet in Quezon City. I discovered Don Day after researching a few blogs about it! After eating in their buffet, which was quite cheap, I invited a lot of friends to eat there again!

Pork Belly
Of course, korean buffets wouldn't be enjoyable without meat and fat. Their buffet offers unlimited servings of pork belly. We had a LOT of pork belly plates. I guarantee that you will experience FOOD HEADACHES if you eat too much of this stuff, so be cautious.

They also have a buffet table set up so you can get other kinds of food! These are all basic korean fare. They have spinach, beansprouts, dumplings, different kinds of korean pancakes (spicy and non-spicy ones), japchae or korean noodles, and others.

They also serve unlimited vegetables and bean pastes for wrapping the samgyeupsal or the pork belly. They also serve kimchi, so if you're a kimchi fan like me, go ahead and take spoonfuls of the spicy stuff with you!

More pork
This was also served unlimited-style. It was a thicker cut of pork and some of my friends actually preferred this one over the belly. I'd choose the belly over these meaty and thick cuts though.

Grill baby! All their tables have these individual grills!

Group picture! Thank you PG team, Anna, Iris, Jemay, HR, P, and Jake for trusting me to eat in this resto! Hello Kim, Celine and Mhika!

The buffet costs 299 pesos per head (unlimited pork servings, and the buffet tables will be open, no drinks though) and it's actually worth it if you can eat more than one order of samgyeupsal, since an order of pork belly in other korean restaurants would probably cost you around 200-250 (add rice and that would be 250-300 pesos already). The place doesn't have air conditioning but if you eat at night time, I don't think you would have any problems about the temperature!

Thanks for the pictures, Jemz and Iriz!!!

Eat them!
