First post ever! Crab and me ate at Izakaya Kikufuji in Little Tokyo, Makati for lunch a few weeks ago. They have lunch specials so you get to choose your set meals! Set meals (around 300-400Php) include a free appetizer, miso soup and yummy Japanese rice.

| Katsudon |
Our first order is a Katsudon (Pork with yummy egg) Set Meal! It was good for 2 and it came with free miso soup, an appetizer and Japanese rice. It was really yummy! The pork was soft and the sauce was light. It also doesn't have too much fat in it unlike other Katsudons that I've eaten before.

| Assorted Sashimi (Salmon, Tuna, Squid, and Uni) |
Our second order was an Assorted Sashimi Set Meal. We though that the Katsudon was good for both of us (since Crab is not PG like me) so we ordered Sashimi instead. It comes with 5 different sashimi but we asked them to replace the Lapu-Lapu Sashimi (I think) with Salmon (Crab's favorite) but UNI IS STILL MY LOVE FOREVER AND EVER :)

| Kani Salad Special |
This is the "Special" variant of their Kani (Crabstick) Salad. I'm not sure about the difference of this Special variant to the Regular variant, except for the price. Nonetheless, it was soooo yummmmy! It was filled with sweet kani and the fish roe was just superb. Yum yum yum!
Overall, Izakaya Kikufuji is one of the best restaurants in Little Tokyo, Makati for me, although their prices are a little bit steeper compared to other restaurants in the area. But hey, it's good food! I think this is my 3rd or 4th time eating in Izakaya Kikufuji. Be careful about their dinner prices because it can get really expensive for a Japanese restaurant in Manila :)
